What's the best setting for the AC when going out of town for 3-4 days? Turn it off? Or lower the settings?

Lower the setting (make it warmer). That way when you come back home it isn't too hard for the system to cool the house back down. If you turn it off your air conditioner will have to run a lot longer to get it back to your desired temperature.
Just keep your normal setting.
I THINK SETTING A BIT WARMER THAN USUAL, BUT NOT SO WARM IT HAS TO WORK HARD TO COOL WHEN YOU RETURN.
DO YOU WANT WASTE MONEY ON STUFF YOU DONT NEED RUN WHEN YOU ARE GONE IF SO GO FOR IT AND IF NOT LEAVE IT OFF. MAYBE LEAVE YOUR RECORDER ON AND THAT ABOUT IT.
Don't turn it off-----I did that when i first moved out to save on the electric bill and it was high---turn it up (warmer). If you turn it off, when you turn it back on everything in your house has to cool down. Think about the furniture and beds etc---all that traps heat and has to cool off.
