Any suggestions for getting rid of pavement ants coming into foundation of house?

They are really small, and brownish black, seen mostly on driveway and along cracks in foundation, but recently have shown up in bedroom and that is just too close for comfort!

I have tried Ant X liquid and Raid and they disappear only to reappear a few feet away the next day.

Amdro Fire Ant bait is THE BEST PRODUCT I have found for getting rid of ants. I have used it to rid my yard and house of all kinds of ants. I have even used it in the kitchen to get rid of very tiny "sugar ants". Sprinkle some on to a paper plate and crush the granules so the smaller ants can carry it away. Then, just sprinkle a little where you see the ants - they take it back to the nest, everyone eats, and tada! no more ants. Don't pour it - sprinkle it - because if it gets wet (overnight dew), it's ineffective. Usually one treatment gets them all.

This fire ant poision is not sold everywhere - only in states that have fire ants - so I don't know if it's available where you live.
