No. Interest rates are going up. In turn the price of real estate will drop. Also in the near future, due to adjustable and arms, there will be many foreclosure. These foreclosures will lead the bank to sell these houses for a reduced price. This will lead other houses in the area to drop. It's true u can build equity in a house, however there is maintence and property taxes. people are still trying to sell there house for a ridiculous price. But nobody is buying them. People are offering much less. Interest rates are still going up. DO NOT LISTEN TO A REAL ESTATE AGENT. Obviously they'll say real estate isn't going down. There just like car salesman. They don't give a sht about you. There out to make a commision. Also you can shop around for different closing costs on a house. Also arms are the dumbest option to choose. It's all interest. also 30 year mortgage suck too. First fifteen years is mostly interest.

I am a homeowner and a landlord also. When you rent, you are just paying the owner's mortgage for him. So you're still paying a mortgage anyway now, just for someone else. You should be paying yours instead and building equity. The longer you wait, the more money you're wasting.
Unless you have a good reason for renting, like you only plan to live in the area for a year, you should always be looking to buy. You can always sell later.

I think so. Housing around where I live drop off real bad. Look for perks. Seller pay the points.there lots more if you have a good agent. Which I'm not. This is what my friend which are tell me ,and I watch the market close. Hope this helps.
