Is it worth growing a Jacaranda?

Tree in this country? (south west) will the frost gun down it? how many times a year will flower within this climate?

Answers:    I live in Southern California and have a Jacaranda tree in my patio. Never had a frost problem here, might ask your local nursery in the order of that. They flower once a year and the flowers last roughly 4 months. The flower droppings are very messy next to a gluey sappy sticky stuff in them. So, by adjectives means, you don't want to be planting it where on earth you might be parking a car beneath it. The sap also stains the sidewalk. In the center of the lawn I assume is best.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

I tried two years running up within the north west and despite good promising starts they didn't survive the winter
Where surrounded by the southwest? There are jacaranda trees growing all over the place within the southwest, including Arizona and all the means of access into California.

I grew up in south Florida and they be all over the place in that, too.
POPULAR TREE IN AUSTRALIA,,BUT THINK YOU NEED A BETTER CLIMATE TO GROW A JACARANDAR TREE IN UK
