What would be the point of being able to see danger coming if you were rooted to the ground? They don't "know" anything. Evolution has worked to give them color.

Its not on the plant to produce attractive fruits. its in the gene of a plant to produce a fruit of specific colour. gene is present in the nucleus of a cell that controlls all the characters of a plant like its height, colour of leaves, etc. more over some flower r attractive because of pollination. to do pollination they r attractive to attract the insects through which the pollination occurs. those flower whose pollination does not occurs by insects are not attractive like wind flowers i.e. whose pollination occurs through wind.
