How do I keep blackbirds out of my songbird feeders?
Answers:
I changed my offered seed-- from "wildbird" seed to black oil sunflower seed for 3 feeders, and a sock with thistle seed for the smaller clinging birds. Oh I throw in some peanuts in the shell but put them on a table or stick them places that the Jays have to think about to acquire. Only seen one grackle ( black birds) in several years-- he got a snack but didn't come back.
I have one of the "keep out" feeders-- but my squrril just hangs by his hind feet-- funny... so I let him alone-- I did have to lock my sunflower seed away from his prying hands, tho.
Hope you have rosy finches-- they sing so beautifully-- they love both black oil and thistle seed.
Good luck

They sell feeders that shut when heavier birds sit on the perch (or squirrels) but I find that the smaller birds drop enough seeds to feed every other animal in the neighborhood.
