It's a shame that we have to run the wasps and bees off because of their awesome ability to flower your property, however, there are times when it's best or safer for the kids and leaves us no choice. You can purchase several products that are made up of crystals containing 5% insecticide which can be sprinkled lightly on the property, beginning at the base of the house and working your way outward. These granules activate by water (rain) and will not only run the bees off, but ants and other aggravating creatures as well. These creatures aren't dumb. If given a choice between hanging out in a yard with no insecticides or in a yard that not only puts off a toxic Oder to them but will kill them as well, believe me, your neighbors are gunna hate ya. lol. Do, however, consider one thing. If you have birds of any type feeding or just hanging out property, DO NOT use these products as they will kill them as well. Replenishing the granules in the yard will of course depend on the amount of rain your area gets. Insecticides like Diaznon and a few others have been outlawed recently so you'll need to ask your store which particular insecticide they sell and make sure that the percentage of poison is very low, believe me, the creatures will smell it from quite a distance even in it's weak proportions. Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Ace Hardware would be the most likely places to find what you're looking for. Hope this has been help full. Larry
