This is the national do not call list. You have to call from the phone you want the calls to stop. There is a step by step instructions on it a it tells you the goverment website for more information.
California has a "Do Not Call" list on their state website. Whatever state your in, see if their website offers this courtesy.

I registered here and it worked for six months... you have to redo it every six or so months and it takes up to a month for them all to stop!
YOU CAN GET ON THE NO-CALL LIST, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEARCH IT! BUT FOR FUN, I HAND THE PHONE TO MY DAUGHTER(WHO TALKS NONSTOP)....THEY STOP CALLING.
They sell an inexpensive little blocker that the phone line feeds into...and you can add the bill collectors also.
Here in Texas you can ask them to remove you from their call list. I haven't received any sales calls except from companies w/which I have I do business (credit card companies, etc.) since I signed up a year ago.
