Why do women think that rearranging furniture is fun?

My mom and I are both known to do this on occasion and I'd have to say for us that it has less to do with the actual arranging (that's more of a pain) and more to do with the out come. Suddenly the living room is more functional or the bedroom has more space. It's satisfying and makes life more comfortable. I can't speak for women who do this on a regular basis (like maybe more than a few times a year) but I usually end up rearranging things either because my needs have changed or because a previous arrangement didn't work out as well as I had hoped.

Hi! I am one of those women. I like rearranging furniture because the room feels cleaner to me when I pull out the couch and chair and sweep behind them. It also takes creativity and muscle, so we are having more than fun---its a work out. I do it every week or two.
Who says that they think it is fun. The fact is that most men would not do anything and all would remain the same. Is it that the woman has visions that the man cannot seem to comprehend. Memories, hopes, dreams, that is one reason. Besides, they get to clean under them there furniture items in the process. Why complain...

Its a good way to really clean out a room plus it gives the room a whole new look. Actually my husband enjoys it also.
I love to rearrange furniture. My husband throws a fit everytime I do it but I am the one who is home all day and I get bored with the same lay out. It is fun and a great stress reliever and the outcome usually makes the room much more functional.
Beats me although as a person with Autism I absolutely hate it when things get rearranged cause I normally like things to be the way they are.
Because it IS fun! We like that type of change - not change in lifestyle or change in situation, just physical change - like changing our clothes, changing our hair, changing paint color, moving furniture etc.
C'mon - we're women, why do we do anything we do??? :-)
