Is any body elses daffodils origination to sprout?
Answers: Even tho it is early, the weather surrounded by my zone 6b area have been mild and the daffodils are up a couple of inches.
It is not a problem however, daffodils and other spring bulbs hold a unique potential to "heat up" when the temps dip below freezing, and this protects them.
In sunny spots within my garden, they start blooming in rash February, sometimes late January if the mild weather holds.
Isn't it excitiing, to see adjectives the things that are green and growing already? My forsythia already has blooms! So does the winter jasmine and the tiny pink viola odorata! And the hellebores are not far down.
