We have uncovered a very old brick, that may be a collectible. Where should I look to see if it is of value?

It is an old brown brick, about the size of a shoe, with a unique design on one side.

Hi, you may want to try an antique store?

Or ebay, try posting it and seeing if anyone wants it?
There are some Yahoo groups for collectors of bricks, you may want to try there. You can post a pic of it and ask someone. You could also check with your local historical society for some fun research.
