To save on Electric & Heat bills, what direction should ceiling fans be set?
Answers:
in summer blow air up, in winter down. in summer by blowing the air up the cool air is lifted off of the floor, in the winter the warm air is pushed down from the celing.
Other answers:
Pulling air up.
Pulling air up.
Blow the air down in the winter, pull the air up in the summer.
Good luck!
Counter clock wise
what
well if its cold outside and yoou want the ceiling fans to help you should have them pointing down becuase hot air rises and cold air sinks so if you have them pointed down they will move the hot rising air down to you!
Well, Heat bills, i don't think you would set your fan at all. Depending on where you live. Hot, set to high. LOL.
i remember iot like this when you set you clock foward, if you guys do this then make your fan turn fowqard or clockwise, in the fall set it to go counterclockwise or backwards
The fan should blow upward in the winter and downward during the summer.
Watts are Watts
No matter what direction the fan is set it would STILL be using the same amount of ELECTRIC. The consumption rating of the fan is relativity the same forward and reverse.
The cooling effect that the human body feels is a different issue.
WATTS are what the electric company bills you for each month.
