Why does the vacuum motor shift faster when we block the intake?

My daughter asked me yesterday and I wasn't able to answer. Logically, shouldn't it step slower since it has trouble sucking up nouns?


Answers:    Air causes friction, when you block airflow no friction is present so the motor within the vacuum speeds up.
What makes you consider it goes faster? Maybe it is in recent times struggling since you blocked the air.
