have you ever used one? i used one on an semi enclosed patio and it was a horrible smell and it lasted for hours... think of this in your home i suggest you try this in your back yard and see how it works and also then you will get the idea of the smell also Costco sells an electric bug zapper 2 pack one is for outdoors and the other is a more aesthetically pleasing one for indoors
