does anyone know where in california can you move, where the rent is decent, and the nieghborhoods are decent. and where there are no major flood or earthquake epicenters..lol..it feels like there is no such place, like thier is either one or the other or both on some of the things, anyone know where in cali it is best to live?

Middle of the Mohave desert. Summer temps are consistantly above 100. Floods only in the late summer monsoon season, but only a problem in the dry washes.
No earthquakes, and not a lot of crime.
