How can I get rid of ladybugs in my home?

Answers:
Turn off all the lights. Now turn one on. The ladybugs will gather there. Pick 'em off and throw 'em out. That's about all you can do.

I tried to research it a year ago. From what I gathered there is not really any way. Some things that help are weather proofing your home better. Other than that just vacuum the dang things up.
Use bug spray around windows and doors where they might be hiding out or sneaking in...try burning a mulberry candle too. The candle helps a little bit and it smells good:)
Nothing works 100% on these horrid pests!
You can get lady bug traps I had seen them in a hardware store and they do work.
lady buggs are pretty and good luck when they land on you. i think you should buy some ladybug eggs and get more!

not sure if they sell them though
Just flick them out the window like I do.
First go around the exterior of your house and make sure you have sealed all the possible entrances with caulk, fixed screens, have sealed gaps under doors etc. otherwise the ladybugs will just come back in and replace the ones that have been removed. It is a lot of work, but well worth the effort.

Once you stopped the new ones from coming you have to get the ones on the inside back out. Everything I've ever read about it says that the best way is just to use the attachment on the vacuum and suck them up. The asian ladybugs in particular can stain and smell if you squish them.
Guess you have a cozy place they chose to stay while not active. We have them too but trying not to pay attention. People say they bring luck :-)))

Tell them to go to my place. They are welcome there. They can eat all of the aphids out of the tomato plants and other pest from my garden.
