how do you deter moths from your home naturally?
Answers:
Make sure all your lights are switched off at night and the moths will be attracted to the lights next door to you. Problem solved.
Other answers:
Just keep the windows shut for as long as possible. If you have to open a window, try to make sure it's one in a dark corner, with relatively little light coming in through it. Be careful when you go into the house to go in quickly, if you have an outside light by the door, you may want to leave it turned off so that moths won't congregate around the entrance.
A more extreme solution would be to get a load of netting, like the kind used in Asia to deter mosquitos. That works pretty well, but it's a lot of hassle. Still, it may only be necessary to do it for a few windows, so it might not be too bad. It may need to be fitted professionally however, and who would know how to do that?

They are quite harmless. They are also very pretty - even the brown ones - and you should try shining an untraviolet light on them. Amazing!
