Bees fighting the hummingbirds at the feeders how do I get rid of the bees?

Answers:
I had this problem last week, since I have several feeders out I took the one down for a day that they were really hitting, then I put it back up after putting vaseline on the little flowers at the feeding hole, so far it has worked, keeps the ants at bay too.

I have a feeder that has an adjustable setting for the depth of the nectar. If I set it to "half" full - then the hummers can reach it with their long beaks, but the bees & wasps can't.

Bees will be attracted to the sweet water. I guess put up traps.
you can't and you shouldn't. that is the way of the world. neither the bees nor the hummingbirds will destroy each other. they will resolve their differences without a word and balance will reign. Too bad humans can't do that.
I have the same problem, so I just leave it be. I have watched and the hummingbirds do get to it and the bees fly away.
Well said Billyw. Every year when I put out my feeders the wasps and hummers do battle. It's really fun to watch their antics! Not to worry. The hummers will eventually win. In the meantime, enjoy the show. The hummers certainly enjoy it!
