u cant man
Dont buy ur sheets at walmart, go to macy's or bloomy's instead. 300 thread count or more! and make sure theyre cotton.
~get a higher thread count~
This must be flannel because I've never had that. Try something like Sateen.
I think what you are describing is "pilling" -- but I've never seen that happen with sheets. What fabric are they? Are they flannel sheets? Cotton? Pilling is generally associated with fabrics like flannel and wool. If that's the problem, stick to Egyptian cotten sheets.
Get satin sheets, they will cost you more, but boy you will never regret it.
I HATE THAT!!
Depending on what store you brought them from I would take them back But you have to watch the thread count anything over 250 is good. Target.com has really nice sheets and their have a decent price AND most of the ones on sale you can get free shipping.
Watch for the thread count. The higher the count the better the quality, the better the quality the less chance of them balling. I usually go for a higher thread count on my fitted sheet since thats the one that takes the body pressure most and a slightly less thread count on the top sheet. It's just more economical for me, since quality sheets are rather expensive. My bottom sheets are at least 300 thread count, top one 250 tc. Good sheets feel so-o-o good.
