I have a built under double oven, which is too small for a turkey! (Well without a bit of mucking around!) I wnat to replace it with one that rests on the floor so uses the space taken up by the decorative, but useless, plinth. Looking around the internet manufacturers do not appear to give oven capacities, so it is really difficult to tell what the size of the oven is. Also those described as being higher then have legs, presumably of plinth height. Can anyone help throw some light on this?
Answers:
Even ones that do rest on the flor, usually have a storage space at the bottom.
Best people to ask are "John Lewis" these guys do not just sell the stuff, but know it inside out.
My neighbours needs a very narrow cooker, Comet etc could not help, apart from just pointing at the cookers and saying this is what we have. The guy at John Lewis told them exactly which ones were ont he market, and what options they had. They are very happy.
Hope that helps.
