Are slugs poisonous?

I had a normail garden slug and by dog terrorised it, going away slime alover my dog. Will this have poisoned my dog?

Answers:    I panic when my year old son ate two that he found contained by our backyard! I was told they be not after contacting a poison control center. Keep in mind that slugs are a short time ago snails without shells and most relatives consider cooked snails to be quite appetizing. Therefore, slugs are not poisonous.

The one and only exception? Possibly, if the slug had injested poison or slug bait formerly someone ate it.
Naw, they're not poisonous... newly a pain within the butt. To get the slime rotten, just use some white vinegar.

Fido will be fine...
No not a majority garden slug. Other slugs are poisonous though.
No i dont think so... the dog might hold squished it which would leave slime adjectives over it... or it might have go on him... But, i dont really think they're poisonous. You should look up 'Poisonous Slugs' on google.com. you might procure some good info in that.
No the dog would be fine - but what does a slug actual do apart from leaving slime everywhere.
No but the slime they move off isn't nice...sprinkle salt on them and they will die
