what is the best way to pack, protect and store antique furnitur?
Answers:
If you are thinking about putting valuable antique furniture in a typical unheated storage unit, I would not leave it there very long. Extremes in temperature and humidity will cause damage no matter how you try to protect it. Veneered furniture, in particular, is very susceptible to damage.
As far as packing and protecting during moving, make sure you have many many moving quilts and arrange the furniture so that it does not rub.
Good luck with your moving and storage.
