check your filtration system
Does the filter need to be backwashed?

You a short time ago shocked wait and see. But breed sure the filtration system is running. Good luck!!
It's because of the high chlorine within the shock you just inevitability to use a pool clarifier. Fricking pools what a pain surrounded by da neck. The subsequent house I get is going to enjoy an automated pool system so I don't have to mess next to it.
Milky? Like, cloudy?

That's not algae, algae is green. Cloudy usually means too much chlorine or chemicals. Take a small sniff when you're proclivity over the pool. Do you smell strong chlorine?
Find a product called "Drop Out". It works similar to a charm on a cloudy pool. You put it in and tolerate it circulate for a couple hours and then turn the pool stale overnight. The next time you vac what's on the bottom to waste. Make sure you over compress the pool so that you have ample water to work near. I love this stuff!
