How do I gain my African mauve to bloom?
Answers: Over watering is a big mistake and they usually don't like to bloom until they are somewhat root bound. Feed it next to a fertilizer for blooming plants and water when the dirt is pretty dry. Also marine only from the bottom but don't agree to it sit in a pool of marine in a bowl.
Bright frothy but not direct sun is the best
I know they approaching bright light and a melt temperature. They also requirement a particular fertilizer. Oh and don't return with water on the leaves. They are reasonably particular plants and I've never have much luck with them.
I believe that in that is specific fertilizer made just for these pretty little bloomers. Try this page for more information on the dedicated fertilizer to use. http://www.ext.vt.edu/departments/enviro...
