That is probably a good thing - every time I walk past their stores in the mall I get a headache from the smell!

Yes & their price is still the same...I've switched to Soy Candles.....
Yes, I did. I switched to Partylite because I thought that, too. But a friend of mine says it depends on how long the candles have been in the store. She says if you buy them at the manufacturer's company store they turn inventory faster than if you buy them at Linen's N' Things or Bed Bath and Beyond. I just find that even when I've inventoried Partylite candles I bought some time ago, they smell just as good as when I bought them.
Haven't bought any recently, but that is interesting. I hope you write to the company and let them know you noticed. The reason I always loved their candles was because of their very strong scent. I have allergies and my nose is fairly stuffy so it is hard for me to smell most scented candles while they are burning.
Yes and they have discontinued some of my favorite scents.
Yes, that is the reason why I don't buy them anymore. =( I have the Oust fan now and love it! It turns itself on for 5 minutes, then turns itself off for 15, and does that throughout the day...really nice to come home to a clean smelling apartment. =)
No. My family swears by them and they seem just as good as they have always been. But may I recommend a way to get them to last longer, invest in a candle heater (not sure exactly what their called). It looks like a crock-pot that plugs in but you just insert the entire glass jar. The pot heats it up giving off the scent without having to burn it. They last a lot longer, smell just as good and it's cuts back on waste. Plus there's never the worry of an open flame if you have children in the home.
I have noticed that too, and they have been rasing there prices again. I have switched to Colonial Candles. They are just a good as Yankee Candles used to be and they cost less too. They also make tarts, though their's are called simmer snaps. Also I like the kinda of glass containers they come in. To me they seem more modern and not that goofy country jar that Yankee uses. On the downside side, they dont have as many scents to choose from as Yankee does. But I think the price alone was worth the switch.
