When you flush a toilet why does the water in some showers turn cold while others turn hot?

It has to do with the size of the supply lines and the configuration ot "T's" used to direct the water. The straight line will get more pressure and larger lines will deliver more water than smaller ones. Many hot water heaters use smaller or larger lines than the rest of the house does.
