What is the point of wasps?
Answers:
what a fantastic question - indeed what is the point of most odd creatures (gnats, newts, ants to name a few!)? I guess we're all just the remnants of evolution - maybe something even bigger than us is asking the same question somewhere else :-)

Well, I guess they are very important to ecosystems. Most are parasitic or predaceous so they limit the populations of other insect species. And, they are eaten by other species so they are part of the food web. They also feed on flower nectar and play a role in pollination. They really don't bother me. Now spiders... that's another story...

They create beautiful nests. I found one in my shed. It must have taken the little wasp days to make. It had a perfect honey comb in side. I am not keen on wasps myself but respect their fantastic nest making skills!!
Don't what Mother Nature had in mind but wasps help pollinate plants, eat protein garbage and eat other annoying insects.
