how do i kill my neighbors rose bush that is huge, and is over-taking my side of the fence. its a eye-sore>:

If the neighbor has been approached politely and is refusing to keep it trimmed back, the city will intervene for you, forcing trimming. Once it's trimmed to the property line, you have nothing to complain about, legally or logically. Perhaps your neighbor doesn't think the things you grow are pretty. You still have the right to grow them, and your neighbor has a right to the rosebush. Be good. You might need the neighbor someday. Cultivate friendship and forget the rosebush.

Have you spoken to your neighbor? Maybe you could work out a pruning compromise. It's illegal to kill the rosebush. It is legal to cut it back to the property line.
If you drill a hole into the base and fill with salt it will kill it totally.
Your neighbor may not like it though...have you talked to them and did you know that rose bushes love to be trimmed in the fall down to at least 18 inches.
Try to educate your neighbor first.
Bleach water will kill that bastard quite nicely. On the other hand so does a 4wd, a chain tied around the base and a lead foot to rip that poor sob outta the ground. FYI...keep going till your well outta the neighborhood!! Good luck!!
you can get in a lot of trouble, considering they can take you to court.
Invest in a 5lbs bag of salt, and dump all of it at the base of the bush. It will take a while, but the more it rains, the deeper the roots get damaged. And once the salt is in place, there isn't much your neighbor can do to save it. The salt will kill the entire bush. good luck
Trim off the side which hangs over your fence.
Tell your neighbor to tame the thing..it is their responsibility, not yours. Otherwise, spray YOUR side with round up..that will take care of it if they wont.
