Acrylic paint on chalice... How walk i variety sure it stays?

I just painted cups near acrylic paint and the paint is staying on fine but scratches past its sell-by date easily. Is in that anything I can put over top to make sure it say and can be easily handle? I was thinking spray laquer. It also requirements to withstand some heat (im putting a candle inside). Answers:    I would use an epoxy that is in the main for repairing glass or windshields. You can receive this 2 part epoxy at any central building supply company. It comes in a syringe that have 2 reservoirs, and as it is pumped out the 2 liquids mix to be paid a super strong epoxy.
Brush this epoxy over each symbolic and allow to dry. This stuff should even be able to dance thru the dishwasher.
Always try your local hardware store first.

Why not grate it all past its sell-by date and use paint 'specially formulated for glass? All the craft stores own it.
