who prefers a country life to the fast racing city life?

The country and true city life are both good choices. The problem is the suburban life. The suburban life is and hybrid between the city and the country. Like all hybrid things it promise the best of two worlds but in reality it brings the worst. America is almost a giant suburbia. This postwar (world war 2) concept was rapidly impulsed by the government and developed by the private enterprise.
In the country we enjoy peaceful life and the nature. In the city we enjoy the architecture, the mix of uses, the walk ability, the apartments, the public spaces, the theaters,etc. I just thinking on the beautiful Europeans cities, like Barcelona, Sienna or
Paris. For the contrary in the suburbia we are slaves of the cars and there's no real place or public realm, the city and the country life doesn't exist in in.
