Stop Polishing Silverware -
To quickly clean tarnished silverware, line an pan with aluminum foil, shiny side up. Place your silverware in the pan. Sprinkle with baking soda, then add boiling water. Allow to soak for a minute or two, then add cooler water to remove the pieces without burning your hands. Rinse with warm water and dry immediately. Presto...clean and shiny without all the work!

The product called" Dip It." The least abrasive possible.
We use Wrights Silver Polish.
It doesn't damage the fine silver and makes it shine like new. In addition it puts an invisible coat that delays the tarnish from returning so you don't have to polish often.
You still have to polish. It delays - not prevents.
Believe it or not -- toothpaste (not the gel but paste). Dab some toothpaste on the tarnish and wipe it off. It will look like it is brand new!
