how can i get mosquitoes out of my house..my kids have bites all over them...HELP!?
Answers:
Go to Home Depot or Lowes and get the "bomb" insect replier... Make sure that no one is in the house while you turn this on... Go watch a movie or go shopping for 3 hours then, come back and to open all the windows... screen closed, thought so it can air out of the house...
Make sure to wash and clean all items that can be used for eating... Wipe all counters after so the pesticide is washed away...
Always keep your door and windows closed if you don't have screen on them... because you will constantly have mosquito outbreak in your house...
Good Luck...

try turn out the lights that causing them to come in. then get some bug off I think it's called bug off candle and burn those candles. it keeps the bugs away.
Stop leaving pools of water around the outside of your house. make sure all pots, and stuff are overturned.
keep your doors and windows closed
If you pour a bottle of wine into a bowl and let it sit out over night the mosquitos will be attracted to the sweetness. Which will make them fly into the bowl and drown themselves because they become drunk. Hope I helped.
Insect repellant; but you should also all of you be wearing something with DEET in it.
get some mosquito spray and spray the house, keep all windows and doors shut so the moaquitos dont come flying in.
Try putting screens on your windows if you leave them open.
this is going to sound weird but.. Hang ziploc bags of water around your doors and windows if you have them open.. and like under your cieling fan.. IT works! They use it at my aunts resturant for flies and mosquitos.. They have a patent pending
start closing the doors more ofteN?!?!?!
Hardware store and other places sell something called ""Fly tape"" You put it around your windows and doors.. it blends in if your paint in white or cream color.. and any small bugs will stick to it. That may sound gross, but it's better than being bit all the time............also, they are getting in your house SOMEHOW........so check all your screen windows.. do not let the door stay open for more than you need.........you can even get a "" bug zapper" light for outside your door, if you can afford it. That'll kill them before they get in.. But really, you must stop the source of HOW they get in.
some one told me to get a white paper plate put some lemon dish soap & a little water -- dont know if it works - havent tried it yet
Get your kids out of the house during the afternoon and spray the entire house. Spray dark or musty spots especially well. If you find any pools of water, the mosquitoes may be breeding there. Once you are done spraying, lock up the House for a few hours. Then, let it air out for a while. If the problem persists, call an exterminator. There may be nothing you can do about it if you live in an area full of mosquitoes.
gET SOME CITRONILLA CANDELS FOR INSIDE ANOTHER TIP THE "CUTTER BRAND WIPES" WORK GREAT 4 SKEETERS & ANTS
Get the Spectracide bombs to put in your house. You need to leave your house for 2 hours.... but works on EVERYTHING!! Guaranteed.... try it and you won't be disappointed. You can buy it at Wal-Mart.
first of all move you babies upstairs and if the only reason they are downstairs is because you want to hear them crying in the middle of the night get those baby things where you can put the sound one next to you childen and put the one where you can listen in your room that way you can hear them crying in the night another solution can be to not turn on the lights alot and if they are needed to be on then when you open the doors to go outside make sure no bugs come in and if they do dnt sleep till every single one is dead ... good luck!!
Plan a morning away from home for a few hours, put the aerosol
'insect bombs' off in your house. Return several hours later, open the house, turn on the fans and air for approx. 1 hour. To avoid the pesky critters getting into your house, go to your local home improvement store and buy a mosquito fogger and fog outside your house in early evening. This will eventually elemenate the mosquitos. Also pour out any standing water outside to remove any 'hatching areas' for mosquitos.
Keep your doors and windows closed.
Mosquitoes come in from outside. So block their path.
make sure your screens are in good repair. it only take
a very small hole in a window screen and dozens can fly in.
Same thing for doors, make sure they stay closed and if you
have to go in or out close them quickly behind you.
Don't have a outdoor light beside the door on before you go out.
leave it off as much as possible. If the little one is in a crib or bassinett get a mosquito net to cover it up with. They go completly over the crib to keep the mosquitoes off the baby.
They make real big nets also but ther'e more for "four Poster" beds and won't work too good for a regular bed unless you install some hooks on the ceiling to hold them up off the bed.
Remember that a moquito can bite more than once. So it only
takes a few to make the whole house miserable.
Be careful with candles. Although we burn citronilla candles
out by the porch at nigt sometimes I wouldn't leave one burning in
the house. The benifits don't outweigh the risks of fire.
Is there so standing water outside you can empty? That is can you dump out some sort of pool or container that has water that is not moving that they may be breeding in? If not can you put some fish or some other animal in there to eat the mosquto larva? If you live in the united states can you get advice from you local public health? I want you to proceed carefully because I want them to help you. Perhaps they have phamphlets that inform you on how to deal with this problem in this region you live in.What about checking the screens on the house and looking for holes in the house and calking them and not leaving doors open? Have you tried covering your children up with clothing as a barrior something not too hot or netting? Also have you tried moving the young ones to where the rest of you are? I think this is serious because the ones being bitten are so young and they need to be protected. Young childern or infants are more delicate than adults. What about talking to the pedicatrician about this asap?
Mosquito Barrier is pretty good, but a little bit expensive (85 for a gallon, but that's for 5 acres). They use garlic and other items... for a less smelly alternative use boiling hot water with rosemary and lemon, cool, then put in a spritzer bottle..... on the high end there are mosquito catchers that emit carbon dioxide and catch the mosquitos..... the link is for the natural solution for mosquito repellent and the mosquito barrier
do u have screens on your window and if u don't tell your husband to put them on
when in barbados, we often go to sleep with one of those anti-mosquito incense coils... you can buy them at most harware stores or online... if you don't like the idea of going to sleep with somehting burning, then i reccommend what they use in europe - a little plastic box that pulgs into the wall and you load it with a mosquito repellent pad.. it lasts for most of the night and keeps them away. Finally, I would say put up a mosquito net around their beds... if you get nice ones, they look beautiful and are functional too.. and the kids will love it (it feels like they are camping)
Get citronella candles it repels them
