what is considered construction trash? My trash comany in Bensalem McCullough Rubbish Removal is giving me a hard time with my trash. I am riping apart my kitchen and taking off some hardwood floors, and other things. Some things they take, while some they leave on the curb. Is this considered construction? I called them and they would not provide a list of accepted items. So I have to take them out and wait to see if they take it. How do I deal with it? I don't want to rent a $300 'smallest' container just to take out some trash that I think should be taken regardless.

Contact a construction company in your town and see if they know. But the trash company should tell you. It is part of their job. I am surprised that I do not know. I usually use a large container or a trailer for my construction jobs. I never realized that trash companies do not pick some things up. Hey, you learn something new every day. I've been in the construction field for about 10 years.

I would demand that they give you a list of what is trash, garbage and debris... It is usually obvious but sometimes not...
Generally, anything that is associated with remodeling or new construction would be debris and they would not pick it up!
Construction trash is debris from "deconstruction" or parts that used to be part of the house. My suggestion is to make a burn pile and destroy by fire!
