I live in an apartment complex with a pool. They have problems with ducks and Canadian geese getting in the pool, so they have a big alligator blow-up raft they keep in there all the time. It works, strangely enough.
You could try some kind of discouraging decoy.
If Your pool is on the migratory waterfowl flyway that is covered by international treaty the ducks may be protected and have the right to use the pool.
I am not kidding trying to drive them off might be in violation of the treaty and you could be subject to a fine for molesting or harassing them. If you are in the covered area you cannot drain the pool to get rid of them either.
I once lived in a condo complex that caught hell from Fish and Game for interfering with the ducks in the pool. Huge fine Threats of prison for condo managers etc.
drain the pool! lol
Keep your pool covered when you're not using it.
Throwing net and an oven will cure your problem and feed the family.
