How do I hang on to these darn mockingbirds away?
Answers: Go to a L&G Center and get some Tanglefoot for Birds (if they don't enjoy it for Birds just return with the reqular--the only difference is the regular is honey colored and the Bird array is clear). Put some where they are going to engineer their nest.
The stuff, as the name imply, is really sticky and the birds hate it. I have sparrows building nests in one gutter spout and kept clogging it up. I put some Tanglefoot on the creep of the gutter and they never came put a bet on after only sooner or later. That was 2 years ago and they own never tried to build in the gutter again. If the place you are going to put it is where on earth you would eventually get into it--put down some mask tape and put the Tanglefoot on the video so after they pick a new place you can crust of the tape and clutch the sticky Tanglefoot with it.
You might also want to put some moth ball in an ancient sock and stick it in the nouns that they last built they nest. I would also suggest that you put another sock beside moth balls on the other side of the front door too.
