Garage sale..When should signs be put out, night before or early morning of??

I have always put my signs out the night before the sale. It is too much of a hassle to put the signs out in the morning of the sale because setting up has to be done.

Run an ad in your local paper the week of, and place signs very early the day of...take signs back down...or find out if there is going to be a community yard sale soon and join it. Here, realtors sponser community yards sales, and the traffic is emense. Good luck

I put signs out the morning of. Otherwise you have 'early birds' knocking your door down while you're still trying to set up.
I would put them out the night before. In my neighborhood, people actually ride around the night before planning their attack.
