Does anybody know how to stop gophers or they could be groudhogs from coming into my yard?

yes i use to have this problem have a couple of dogs in yard they will run away from them & not come back
shoot them in the head or get a professinal gopher removeral person and that should get rid of them
You could try putting mothballs around the perimeter of your lawn, just remember to replace them every few weeks.
