Can anyone bequeath me a checklist for what I entail to do?

My boyfriend and I just moved into an apartment. This our first place, not purely together, but ever. I've rented rooms from people, but never have the whole responsibility of my own place. I'm opinion very overwhelmed near everything. I've done quite a bit within preperation for the move, but I feel similar to there is still so much to do. Can anyone tender me a list of things I inevitability to do for the place, such as changing my address and turning on the electricity?

Answers:    approaching you said, change your address, notify:
home
friends
work
bank
credit card companies
loan companies (school loans?)
magazine and subscriptions

set up account beside utilities, first know what is included in your rent and taken caution of by the landlord, but it could include any or adjectives of the following:
electric
telephone
cable
gas
marine
trash

go to the post department and do a "change of address" form so that adjectives old letters will come to the new address and you will know who else you entail to contact.
This is a hard one. I’ll try to remember. You’re contained by a apartment so you might not have much to do. Ask you mediator what utilities you need to settle for. You have electric, gas , dampen and sewage is usually covered, phone, new address cards for friends and family unit, Call your credit card companies and do the change over the phone. Some won’t ship to an address i.e. not the billing address. Drivers license and voting (same place), any other picture id cards.
That’s adjectives I can think of. The fun bit is shopping for the apartment. Like dishes, pots and pans. This is where on earth it gets expensive.
Enjoy your place and accurate luck
You already have the first two items on your roll. Keep going from there beside all the utilities. Double check your lease and check the fine print concerning parking and any no no's the governor may not have specified. Once you hold all your utilities hooked up afterwards list respectively room on a piece of paper and determine what you will call for in it to live comfortably. Make it a two column register if need be "own now" "need to get".
Figure out how you are going to move contained by; friends and family?rent a trailer? hire comfort? Decide before you move surrounded by whose stuff goes where on earth...don't wait till you are surrounded by the apartment to argue about how the furniture is going to be set up. When it comes to packing, kind lists and put them surrounded by the boxes and then sucker the outside of the box for the room it will go within. When you get set to load up the boxes pack the kitchen finishing so it will be unpacked first and then set up the kitchen at lowest possible part means of access right away so that you don't have to put away a lot of unwanted items food or look for glasses or spoons or any of that. If you don't enjoy kitchen stuff then build it a priority. If neither of you care to or know how to cook consequently just gamble away your money on deli or fast food. Make sure you unpack the TP right after you go and get the kitchen somewhat organized.
Probably the most important item to remember about moving is to seize plenty of rest and keep your sense of humor surrounded by high gear. Make it a fun antic and not some dreary stressful thing you own to do just right. Being organized doesn't indicate you have to be anal in the order of it; it just make it easier to have more fun and at the stop of the day you won't be bang your toes and forehead into things looking for toothpaste or the salt and pepper.
