Is this a good future plan?

Well, I will tell you what I think although it may not be what you're asking. I think your plan is very realistic. Anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it.
But what I thought when I read this is that you must be running away from something and you are afraid someone is going to hurt you.
I don't know how you feel but I'm not sure I would enjoy living alone. Maybe at first it would be nice to get away from everyone and everything but eventually it might be lonely.
I don't know how old you are but someday there may come a point where you meet someone from the opposite sex that is not so bad. There are a lot of different kinds of people in this world and some of them make it horrible, but there are some people who are wonderful also.
Even if you never get married I wouldn't rule out having a good friend (male or female) to rely on.
As for the name fate, I think it is okay. You must think though of the child and how her name will affect her, do you think she will like it? Or do you think she might wish she had a more conventional name? (She could always use her middle name if she wanted to also.)

It's a great plan with a good dream! So much changes though. Think back 4 years ago and how you are now... lots of dreams change. For instance, last year I thought me and my girlfriend of 4 years would start living together, etc, but somehow we broke up & she moved across the country closer to her family. Wow did my plans change! Just live life and whats unexpected may be for the good!

Good plan. At least you have one! Most people don't these days. I hope you stick with it! Go luck with your life. And yes, Fate is a beautiful name.
Sounds like a good plan.. but I agree with the other guy - everything changes.
You'll be shocked to see how your plan changes just in the next year or two. More than likely, even if you don't get along well with the opposite sex, you'll find someone who'll change everything.
PS - if you're living in the mountains, alone, why only buy a rifle to defend yourself? Try hunting.
