how to stop blossom end rot in tomatoes?

planted in topsoil, used Miracle grow plant food. I water every day or two, as it has been very hot here. Plants are high, a few leaves are yellow. fruits plentiful, but some have black rot on blossom end. What do I need to do?

Blossom end rot is caused in part by a calcium deficiency in the plant; a meal mix fertilizer may help future crops.
