Fruitflies ALL over my house?

I'm not sure if gnats and fruitflies are the same article. But anyway, they are driving us CRAZY. They are everywhere. The only produce I own out are bananas in a bowl on the table. Could this be the culprit? They don't appear to hang out near, though. They are ALL over the kitchen and bathroom. I mean, this morning we enjoy probably killed 15 and they are still primarily swarming. :(

Please help me find a solution to find rid of them -- and thank you so much in mortgage!

Answers:    A pest is a pest! Frankly you need to find the source of the, if you will pity the expression, investation. Remove any old the media, fruit, trash, etc. As best you can wipe down all surface areas within the kitchen and where food is stored (empty the cabinets) and wipe down next to a Bleach Solution or with the newer Clorox Wipes. I would roughly throw out any open containers surrounded by the cabinets that contain any sugar or flour.
Now comes the best part. Purchase a small container of Pure Ivory Liquid Dish Detergent and a Spray Bottle from the local dollar store or supermarket. At 1tsp per quart of dampen spray the devils at will. Add the detergent after filling the bottle, shake for a minute or so, and consent to the suds settle before using. This suffocates the gnats and fruitflies in need out harming you or the environment.
If you find a important area of amusement use the same formula but put it surrounded by a few shallow bowls. Add a tsp of sugar to the formula and mix it well into the mixture. They will step for the sugar and drown in the soap and marine.
I once had to do this surrounded by a Courtyard at a dorm in a University. The results be immediate. Hope it help. I am at gjgjobs@YAH00.COM, again, after a months vacation.
If you hold an animal they might be fleas. If your sure their fruit flies it means somewhere within is something rotten going on in your house. It could be a portion of an orange ding-dong that dropped behind the counter. You are going to call for to find it or wait until it rots into nothingness.
I have those too.....HOTSHOT makes a fly/gnat assassin that is surrounded by a plastic white case that holds the pallid strip so that you don't have lots of sticky fly strips lifeless from the ceiling. I would also pour bleach down the sink - they come from there too....the ripened food in the sink help them multiply!!! The HOTSHOT works great though!!! Good luck
get rid of the fruit. put away any alcohol. pour a bit of bleach down your sinks/drains & run the disposal. cart out the garbage.....
Eat the bananas and return with rid of the skins outside and see what happens consequently. Usually fruitflies will disappear when there is no fruit. They approaching to be near the smell of it.
They absolutely like really ripe bananas. They are also attracted to trash can and bathrooms. Make sure your trash cans are abandon, bathrooms are completely cleaned and put the bananas in the fridge. Then you can stir on a killing spree. I would try those sticky strips as powerfully. In the future preserve the really ripe bananas in the fridge and put any produce spend in the disposal, making sure you run sea for a few seconds after turning it stale. Or put it in a smaller plastic shoulder bag that can be taken to the outside can daily. Pouring some bleach down adjectives of your drains occasionally will also help to hang on to them away.
