Do councils contained by UK adopt constructions/working drawings prepared by a draughtsman???

I need a construction/working drawing for submission to Building Control and I be wondering if it is possible for it to be done by a draughtsman friend or by an architect who will charge me a lot of money............

Answers:    The answer is yes, they will adopt plans drawn even by a layman as long as they are done correctly.
You'll have to contact the Planning Department.
I didn't use an architect. You should contact the council to see what their unusual rules are. As long as it's done to scale and have all the relevant elevation on you should be OK.
dont let any architect neer your property use your friend...and the council will adopt the plans as long as they are up to scratch and done properly...and consequently get a honourable builder like me to come and build the point for you
