Does anyone here shop at Costco?

I love that place....Its just about the cheapest place to buy a book, the only problem is we usually end up spend way more than we intended to. I also love the free food samples...if you time it right, you don't even need to eat lunch.

It's like a fun date when we go there. We find all kinds of things. Have you ever eaten in the snack bar ? WOW ! great, huge piece of pizza, hot dog & pop for a low price. The chicken turnover thing looks good I haven't tried one yet.
I love the place too !! My husband always gets one of those super berry sundae's !

Yep, you summed it up.. they are pretty cool.
Yup that store is awesome... Except, they don't know anything about electronics
When we go shopping we come around lunch time... while my mum shops i go food sampling ans it's usually enough to fill me up. They have great deals and a bit of everything.
Well usually when I went there I would buy food or soda. I went there about 2 weeks ago and bought a router table (kinda like a table saw) and the router was not nearly as good as it said it was. I still like the food.
I've shopped at Costco, and they have a lot of good prices. I think that people always leave the store with more than they came in to buy. It's fun tasting all the food samples. I like the men's shirts, although I'm single. If you haven't had a chance to taste their red potato...potato salad, well it is soooo good.
Unfortunately, yes. It seems their entry fee is 100$ per person. At least, my wife and I never seem to be able to leave without spending that much. And we almost invariably see something we planned on buying in the future, but, they have it now, so you must buy it because they may not have it again! I don't like that they support left-wing causes and candidates. Sam's club is coming to our area so we will switch and let our Costco membership lapse.
COstco is a great place...... i found some really good food using the samples......very cheep prices....... you are right really cheep book prices....... same with games............... over all it is the best store i have ever been to. I hope you have a great time there.
There are no stores in Ohio area
you are so right. you can have lunch there if you get there at the right time. if you go first thing in the morning you can have a big piece of cake and a cup of coffee on them. And you are so right. you cant go there and buy just one thing. sometimes i go there to get meat and a few things in bulk. i dont want to spend more then two hundred dollars and nearly walk out spending four hundred. Thank god we usually only shop there once a month. I do love that store also.
Yep, I'm going there today with my mom. :]
I was just at Costco today. I just moved into a new place and bought a new fridge so of course I had to go out and grocery shop. I spent close to $500 but I bet I wont have to grocery shop for a few months at least. It's worth it spending that much money all at once. Then you dont have to worry about it later. I just didnt think about how I was going to get it all into my car!
My goal is usually to run in there and grab some milk and run out, but it never seems to happen that way. They do seem to know all about getting you to browse/munch around a bit more. ;-)
I occasionally shop at Costco. and I, too, time my shopping trips around the lunch hour and eat my way around the store. I also spend more than I intended. They also have the best meat department aside from the butcher-shop.
Yes..it is a great place. I get my prescription medicines there and they are always much cheaper than at regular pharmacies.
We love it to, but we only seem to use it around the holidays when we buy things in bulk.
I do like Costco, but I can only afford going once in awhile. My family and I noticed that on an average everything costs $10. You may not notice until you actually count the items and then pay at the check stand. Some things might only be $7.99, but others are $11.99. The next time you go do the count trick and you will see that if you get 13 items, you will be paying real close to $130… it really adds up. This past weekend, we got 32 items – I will let you do the math.
