How do you win rid of flies within your home? and outside of it?
i want them gone. can't afford an exterminator. they are also flying around the entranceway too.
any advice?
Answers: they used to be paid these 'fly strip' things.....like it be a long sticky strip that you put out and the flies just stick to them. Im sure you can still gain those somewhere....that or I'd get spray to rob care of them. I have a bad suitcase of fruit flies once in my kitchen...and I get some special can of RAID that was only just for fruit flies. I'm sure they make one for regular aged flies too. They even make those to smell much better at the moment...mine smelled good in fact. I'd try that out......and yeah, hopefully there is nil dead only just laying around surrounded by your house that you don't know about....but I guess that could be it too!!!
Go to Home Depot, bring back a zapper. Use it inside and/or outside. I leave mine on every time, in teh underground room and the number of flies really goes down.
You can also take a trap, for outside. Those traps work, but they stink too much
Check all the crawl spaces within & around your house. I once had the SAME problem- until I discoverd a deceased rat under my front porch. I get rid of the rat- & the Flies went beside it!
In addition to the looking beneath and in everything, move or verbs your garbage can. Look for the maggots, then you will enjoy found your problem. If these flies have a shiny, metallic look to their bodies, later you will need to look for something insensible around. When you find it, clean it up, problem solved.
