Height of roof on prospective house--bad feng shui?

I drove by a house that just came on the market, and I noticed that the height of the house is slightly lower than the house to the left and right of it. Is this a bad feng shui? My mom said it's not a good sign meaning it'll make the owner's work situation more difficult. The height of your house should be higher or the same height as your neighbors' houses. This wouldn't matter if you have a corner lot, but the house I saw is located between 2 houses.
