how can i get the birds out of the walls?

my friend has birds in her walls, i thought she was nuts, but evidently the vents were blown off and not its home to the birds .. she doesnt like my idea of tack up a new vent and let em die..so can u help?

Let them finish roosting and then when they leave close off the vents and secure the place where they are getting in.

Install nettings and covered over these holes will keep the birds away. It is a simple and cheap solution.
Lite weigh grates of screening do the job and bring no harm to your house or the birds. netting or screening can be purchased in a Home Depot or Lowe's or even your local hardware store.
