how do you get rid of mosquito's around the house?

i have them really bad around the front door no matter what you do they are always swarming there

Answers:
Eliminate standing water. Invite bats and birds to your yard. (bat houses for the bats, flowers and other planting for birds)

Light some of those insect-repellant candles on you front doorstep if they seem to congregate there - they'll at least move off.

Water is the answer. You have standing water around your door. Eliminate the water, eliminate the mosquitoes. It doesn't have to be much water, I had a problem with a Peace Lily that I was over watering.

You probably have standing water, there is a product called Mosquito Dunks (if you have a pond or some other standing water that you can't get rid of) that you can just drop in the water, and it's not toxic. Otherwise, find the water, and dump it. Also, try using a bug light (a yellow light bulb that you can see, but doesn't attract bugs) at you door.
