spend less on the wedding and get both
hmmm, didn't think paris hilton would be on answers....get both, smaller wedding
Compromise and get both. You will be able to find a pool contractor that can build a combination hot tub inground next to the pool, that share the same heater and filter. It will save you on a second set of filter/heater equipment and thet can be used towards the wedding.
I would say depends on where you live if you live in FL get the pool, if you live in NY get the hot tub, I would think a pool you would use more,
Both - we have a pool with a hot tub that is connected - waterfall runs from spa into pool when we're not using the spa.
It took several years to find a pool company we were happy with - so if they don't make you feel like you're in charge and they can do what YOU want - keep shopping.
While your cost of the wedding does sound wonderful, it won't come in handy when the heat reaches 110, nor will it be much fun with you have a barbecue party.
I can't imagine having just a hot tub - you would spend thousands for a tub and heater - and only sit in it an hour or so, maybe daily.
We swim several times a day, wonderful exercise...
hot tub. besides, who gets to clean the pool in the dead of winter? hopefully not you, but it could happen.
