If you were in charge of the environment---what bug would you remove from existence and why?

I would kill all flies in the world because they serve no purpose and they are nasty. Sometimes, they bite you after eating $hit.
I would eliminate the bacteria that causes tooth decay. It wouldn't destablize all of society, or disrupt the food chain, or anything, but it would make people more comfortable. We would still need dentists, but not so many and there are plenty of medical professions that need the people currently employed in positions like dental hygenists.
The "bug" I would remove is man! He is an environment destroyer first class, and the world would gt along much better without him.
