When I was a kid, my brother and my job was to catch moths that flew into our house and flew in circles around the bare overhead bulbs. They were troubling trying to eat. Our trick to capture the moths was to hold a pan half full of warm water under the bulb and the moths would fly into the water and we would simply throw the water full of moths out the back door. As we caught the moths in a room we cut off the light in that room and went to the next two rooms. A 6 room house took us less than 10 minutes to rid all moths. Doors and windows were shut until after our dinner, then re-opened after eating. Anytime they would build up we went after the pan of water. It works quickly and is easy. Hold the pan of water about 6-8 inches under the light and they will dive right in, just don't touch the bulb to the water, lol. It does work.
